Detailed Course Outline

This one day course covers all aspects of wound management in the EC including:

  • methods of skin closure
  • managing complex wounds eg. stellate wounds & skin loss
  • wounds on special areas eg. nose, lips, ear
  • common nerve blocks
  • basics of procedural sedation
  • Burn wounds
  • wound dressings
