Brief Course Overview
Health professionals working in busy emergency centres are often required to perform emergency and urgent procedures for various conditions. Often there is more than one accepted technique and this course will equip candidates with background knowledge about procedures and how to perform them practically and safely. Procedural sedation is also an important component of performing procedures and national experts will provide the theory on the different drugs available, how they should be used in a safe manner and how procedural sedation should be performed.
