Brief Course Overview
Through lectures, skill stations and workshops, students will be exposed to burn pathophysiology and anatomy, resuscitation of the burn victim, management of the burned airway, treatment of burns in children, transfer criteria and management of different types of burn injury. In addition, skills like escharotomy are also taught.
