CME Days – Topics of interest in Emergency Medicine
This two-hour breakfast meeting will cover a topic relevant to emergency medicine.
There will be three talks provided by a specialist in the field of discussion, an emergency medicine specialist and a paramedic.
Previous examples are toxicology emergencies and cardiology.

Brief Course Overview
The course will be a two hour session on a topic relevant to emergency medicine.
There will be three talks provided by a specialist in the field of discussion, an emergency medicine specialist and a paramedic.
Previous examples are toxicology emergencies and cardiology topics.
One of the three dates will be a full day organized by EMSSA, on various emergency medicine topics. 2010 topics – may be changed – paediatrics and psychiatry.

Clinical Director Profile
Kirsty Cohen is a Emergency Medicine Physician working in the Western Metropole District. I am interested in improving the quality of care received by an emergency patient in all levels. I feel we should strive for excellence despite the very real constraints within which we practice in the South African context.
