Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
The BLS course is designed to train healthcare providers in the lifesaving skills of both CPR, and relief of choking.
This course is aimed at pre-hospital and in-hospital healthcare workers.

Brief Course Overview
This course is aimed at pre-hospital healthcare and in-hospital healthcare workers. It covers international and the latest (November 2005) recommendations on:
- CPR for adults, children and infants
- Use of the automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Relief of choking
Who should attend this course?
This course focuses on health care providers who respond to cardiovascular and respiratory emergencies. Any doctor, paramedic or registered nurses working in an emergency setting
Why should someone attend this course?
After attending the course students will be able to do Basic CPR effectively.
